Creature Features invites you to join us for Harry and the Hendersons! Monday, August 13 at 7:30 PM at the ArcLight Cinemas in Hollywood, 6360 W. Sunset Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90028.

Throughout the 1980s, Steven Spielberg’s Amblin Entertainment struck fantasy gold with such classics as E.T., Gremlins, The Goonies, and Back To The Future.

In 1987, the company set its sights on the Bigfoot mythos. The result was Harry and The Hendersons, introducing audiences to one of Amblin’s most beloved characters in the form of a benevolent, 8-foot-tall, furry behemoth (played by the late Kevin Peter Hall) who crashes into the lives of a middle-class family from Seattle, led by John Lithgow and Melinda Dillon.

Now, 25 years later, Creature Features celebrates this big-hearted family comedy with a special 25th Anniversary screening, reuniting the film’s many talented artisans.

Presented in 35mm, the film will be followed by a panel discussion with Writer/Producer/Director William Dear, makeup FX legend Rick Baker – whose creation of “Harry” won him his second Academy Award for Best Makeup – and more to be announced.

Attendees will receive a free commemorative program book with rare photos and a look back at the film, plus the opportunity to purchase an exclusive 25th anniversary screen print, showcasing artwork created by Rick Baker. A rare collection of original props and memorabilia will also be on display during the event, plus a few surprises!

Tickets are $17.50 in advance, or $20 at the door.
